Southern Africa
In South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Swaziland, Lesotho, Zambia, Malawi and Angola it’s possible to receive BVN through a subscription to DStv / MultiChoice. Contact information: http://www.dstv.com/Pages/ContactUs/. Or contact your local Multichoice office or agent.
BVN can also be received free-to-air, 24 hours a day in southern Africa with a digital satellite receiver via the Astra-4A satellite on 5,0 degrees east.
- In these regions all you need is a modern free-to-air (FTA) DVB receiver and a good quality satellite dish.
- The size of dish required will depend on where you intend to receive BVN. The correct size of satellite dish is extremely important for good interference-free reception.
